Junior Designer
Shape how Sauri Labs and its brands explain technical work. You will move between product surfaces, editorial systems, and a growing family of identities.
The role
You will help make technical products feel clear, composed, and useful. Some days will involve exploring a product flow with an engineer. Other days will involve shaping a page, refining a visual system, or finding a better way to explain an infrastructure concept to someone who does not live inside it.
What you will work on
- Design clear digital experiences in close partnership with engineering and product collaborators.
- Turn rough ideas and technical constraints into considered flows, layouts, and interaction details.
- Develop reusable visual systems that help our brands feel related without looking identical.
- Create editorial and marketing assets that make technical work approachable and credible.
- Maintain component, typography, color, and content patterns as the site and products grow.
- Present work, receive critique, and iterate with care rather than treating the first idea as precious.
What we are looking for
- At least two years of experience designing digital products, websites, or communication systems.
- A portfolio showing strong visual hierarchy, typography, layout, and interaction fundamentals.
- Comfort working in Figma and explaining design decisions to people with different disciplines.
- Interest in technology and the patience to understand a technical subject before simplifying it.
- Care for details, accessibility, responsive behavior, and the quality of the final implementation.
Helpful, but not required
- Experience working with a design system or translating designs into HTML and CSS.
- Motion, illustration, information design, or editorial experience.
- Experience shaping a brand family, documentation site, or technical product narrative.
What success looks like
- People can understand what our products do and why they should trust them.
- Design decisions are captured in reusable patterns that make future work faster and more consistent.
- The gap between a thoughtful design and a polished, usable implementation keeps getting smaller.
Bring context,
not a performance.
Tell us about the work you have done, the decisions you made, and the kind of problem you want to take on next.
